The Holden Beach commissioners have unanimously authorized the town attorney, the mayor and/or the town manager to sign closing documents in order for the town to complete the purchase of three lots located behind town hall and to accept three other properties as gifts, when the documents have been drawn up legally and are agreeable to both buyer and seller.
The offer was made by Holden Beach Enterprises to sell the Town of Holden Beach the three lots behind the town hall for $1 million and to offer to give the town the other three properties as gifts.
Once a number of details are cleared up Town of Holden Beach officials are expecting to close the transaction by December 13.
