CrossFit OIB is about functional fitness and friendly faces. Our highly trained coaches will help you find the right path to becoming your best self, whether you are just beginning or halfway there already. We have worked hard to create an inclusive, supportive community that embraces veterans, newbies and visitors alike. From daily workouts, to long-term goals, Crossfit OIB has the knowledge, experience, and program to help you succeed.  

Crossfit As everyone walking in our doors has a vast range of personal goals and ability levels, our group coaching program is designed with the flexibility to meet those needs. While not as specific as an individualized program designed specifically for you, our goal-based programming allows you to choose from different paths within our group classes to achieve your personal goals.

It’s simple: Crossfit Ocean Isle Beach is home. My home, our athletes home and our vacationer home away from home.

Like any good family, we at CFOIB set you up to l?ive your best life ?and support you along your journey. We are a gym filled with young and old, novice and veteran, students and professionals. We applaud you when you succeed, encourage you when you doubt, and motivate you when you struggle. We are a close­knit group but never exclusive. We are a team made up of all kinds of players and personalities. We are your friends and your family.

Perhaps the most significant way we support our community is through our unique style of coaching. We believe that everyone can and should pursue health and fitness. We pride ourselves on being a gym for the i?ndividual not for the masses; thus, our program is not one­size­fits­all. We believe in tailoring our program for the individual client in order to achieve desirable levels of health & performance. Whatever your background or current fitness level­­ college athlete? retired couch potato? somewhere in­ between? Once you step into the CrossFit OIB gym, everybody is considered an athlete. Not one client will receive preferential attention over another from our coaching staff. Whether you are the fastest or the least graceful, you will be treated with respect at CFOIB. Whatever your needs are, we are here to meet them through group, private and nutrition coaching.

Behind our coaching is our steadfast belief that the purpose of our training is to provide the greatest, healthiest, and most efficient results possible. To accomplish this, we draw from multiple training philosophies, incorporating the best of each to deliver a one­of­a­kind fitness experience. Our training provides much more than speed, endurance, strength, muscle growth, and fat loss. We are more than just cool equipment and a workout. The training always promises to be challenging, unique, and creative in ways that keep you engaged and excited.

Q Are Visitors Welcome?

Visiting CrossFitters are welcome to join any of our group coaching CrossFit classes. Or if you choose to follow your own programming you may do so during any of our designated OPEN GYM times.

Due to the high volume of visitors during the summer season we strongly encourage you to purchase your $15 daily visitor pass ($20 if not done online prior to class) or $40 weekly visitor pass ($50 if not done online prior to class). However, IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND A 6 AM CLASS YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR DROP IN PASSES ONLINE.For all other drop in times, we do accept cash, check, or credit card in person — but checking in online will speed up your check-in process, save you money and lend to a better experience for you! *As always Affiliate Owners visit free.*

As a courtesy, we ask you to shoot us a quick email letting us know what class time(s) you plan to attend so that we can notify the coaches to expect a visitor. *Please pay particular attention to our group coaching class descriptions as we offer more than one “CrossFit program”. [email protected]

All first time visitors: please arrive an additional 15 – 20 minutes prior on your first visit to fill out a waiver, purchase your passes if you haven’t already done so online and get accustomed to our box. There is a pre-warmup written on the whiteboard to be completed on your own, and right at the start of class you will receive instruction on the group warm-up and workout of the day from your Coach.

We always have t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats available for sale in our pro-shop! **While we are confident that your affiliate’s t-shirts are wicked cool, due to the high volume of visiting CrossFitters each year, we cannot accommodate t-shirt exchanges.**

Or you are welcome to use our 6200 sq ft facility & equipment during any of our designated open gym times but you are not permitted to join our classes unless you have prior training in the CrossFit principles. Our equipment includes but is not limited to rowers, GHDs, kettlebells, dumbbells, Olympic barbells, bumper plates, pullup & dip bars, gymnastic rings, and squat racks.

Crossfit Ocean Isle Beach is the real deal. Fantastic facility, great coaches, and a great atmosphere to train in. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Karen Candia, the owner of Crossfit Ocean Isle Beach, during my time there but I did not need to meet Karen to see what an exceptional leader she is. It is obvious Karen has worked very hard to get Crossfit Ocean Isle Beach to where it is and it is also obvious she takes great pride in helping people better their lives through proper exercise and nutrition. My husband and I were on vacation and needed a place to complete the Crossfit open workout. Karen and the other coaches were very accommodating, and they let us work out with their team. The atmosphere was encouraging yet competitive, and I feel like my performance improved because of it. WODs at your gym are great. I really like how organized you are with keeping everyone on top of their journal. It’s obvious you are programming and coaching with very distinct goals. Often times I feel like people just show up and do WODs just to do them, with no end in sight or no carrot to reach for. Q Is Private Coaching Available?

Private coaching is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations, or just prefer the additional attention and accountability of private coaching. To best suit the needs of our members, we offer private coaching with individualized program design in both one-on-one and small group settings. We believe real results are measurable, so to track (and celebrate!) your successes, we include before and after photos, benchmark WODs, body measurements, and goal setting.

Our program includes personalized weekly meal plan + weekly weigh-in/measurement testing and one-on-one counseling with a Nutrition Coach. Our clients on our meal planning typically lose up to 2lbs a week and achieve the most success with our program. Proper diet and nutrition are an integral part of any fitness program. The CFOIB Nutrition Coaching Program is right for you, if:

You know what you should be doing, but easily stray from the path
You’re tired of fad dieting with short lived results
You need help streamlining your eating efforts to fit a busy lifestyle
You want to optimize your nutrition so you can get the most out of life.

RESERVATION POLICY:

You may schedule classes up to 7 days in advance & no later than 60 minutes prior to start.

All reservations must be done in your account online (not via text message or email). We have 8 bikes for 8 riders. If you don’t sign up online you are not guaranteed a bike. You will receive a confirmation email when you reserve a bike.

Please be on time – 5 minutes before class all empty bikes will be released to walk-ins.

First SPINNING® class? Please arrive 15 minutes prior to ensure time for proper bike setup & bike safety overview.
