Registration is now open for the 2024 Special Olympics Brunswick County Polar Plunge, taking place March 2nd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Support Special Olympics Brunswick County by taking the wintry leap into the chilly water at Middleton Park, 102 SE 47th St in Oak Island. There will be food, games, entertainment, and a costume contest.
Too chicken to plunge? Donate to get a “Too Chicken to Plunge” shirt and/or donate to an individual fundraiser or team in support of Special Olympics Brunswick County.
Brunswick County Special Olympics is also partnering with Oak Island Water Rescue for their annual food drive, so feel free to bring any non-perishable foods to the Plunge for donation.
