Turtle Talk is held every Wednesday through August 21. This program will start at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Holden Beach Chapel. Please note the time IS 7 p.m. there are some signs around the island that say 7:30— this is WRONG and we’re working to correct this. Please come prior to 7 p.m.
All family members are welcome. There will be a slide show, delightful short movie and Q&A session. This program focuses on the life cycle of the sea turtle and how the HBTWP aides in the preservation of sea turtles. Several turtle artifacts will be on display for viewing and informational handouts will be available.
This program is free of charge. Come learn about the turtles that nest on our beach.
This program is designed for all ages. The Holden Beach Turtle Watch, members will share what we do on the beach to protect the sea turtles that nest on our beach and share the life cycle of sea turtles.
Children’s Turtle Time runs Wednesdays through August 7 at 4 p.m.
This program is specifically for children ages 3 – 4 and 5 – 6. An adult should remain with the child during the 45-minute program. If a family has two or more children that fall within both age groups, it is advisable that two adults attend. The program introduces young children to the world of sea turtles through hands-on play, games, books and puzzles.
Children’s Turtle Time begins June 26 and runs Wednesdays through August 7.
Turtle Talk for the whole family will be held each Wednesday evening through August 21 at 7 p.m.
