Update from EMD/Mayor Holden (August 3rd) –
Based on the current track of Isaias, the Town is enacting a voluntary evacuation for residents effective August 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. A town-wide curfew will be in effect starting at 6:30 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. A curfew means all people must remain at their domicile. Remember, the bridge is subject to be closed to all traffic at any time.
High tide tonight is approximately 8:45 p.m. Please remember to give special care to boats, docks and other waterfront potential risks.
GFL Environmental (Waste Industries) has notified us that trash service will be provided in the morning, but may be delayed depending on the storm. Please secure your trash overnight and wait to place it by the curb until the morning.
