As the number of Covid-19 cases in the area levels off, a few of the restrictions regarding the beachfront are being lifted. Social distancing policies are still in effect, requiring a minimum of 6 feet distance between beachgoers.
Update from May 1st, 2020
Having consulted in an emergency meeting with the Board of Commissioners today at 4:00 p.m., the terms of the State of Emergency have been amended. Highlights include: rentals may resume as of May 8th; and public parking and public accesses are open immediately. All other restrictions remain in full force.
