Tropical storm conditions likely (not Hurricane!). Very windy… showers and thundershowers early… overcast after midnight with rain likely. It will be heavy at times. Low 73F. Winds NNE at 40 to 60 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall possibly over one inch.
Weather by Sunday will be BEAUTIFUL!

Tropical storm force wind probabilities remain high across our coastal area. Residents in our area should prepare for the possibility of moderate flood and wind impacts. Moderate wind impacts include: potential damage to roofing, damage to signs and shallow rooted trees blown down. Power outages could be possible, especially in areas with above ground power lines. Astronomical high tides will be present Friday through the weekend because of the new moon. As a result, there could be minor surge along vulnerable low spots especially as the storm moves by Friday night through Saturday.
No tornado impact is expected since the quadrant of the storm that would favor tornadic development will remain east of the area.
Please keep in mind this is a large storm and impacts will extend well away from the center of the storm. Residents and guest should continue to monitor this storm very closely and maintain a high level of situational awareness given the forecast intensity and proximity of the storm.
We will continue to update this site as additional information is available.
