On December 13th, come and see how Christmas was celebrated long before there were video games and television Christmas specials. Visitors to the Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site in Winnabow, NC, will have a chance to explore how American colonists celebrated Christmas.
Costumed actors will provide guided tours of St. Philips Anglican Church and historic Brunswick on the hour. The highlight of the evening is a period candlelight service in the ruins of St. Philips Anglican Church. There will be several activities keeping with the time period, and some refreshments will be available. Admission for this event is free!
The reenactments and the services will be open from 1pm to 5:30pm. Brunswick Town/ Fort Anderson is located at 8884 St. Philip’s Rd. SE, Winnabow, NC.
