Holden Beach Sea Turtle Talks

Every Wednesday in June, July, and August, at 7:00 p.m., the Holden Beach Turtle Patrol conducts Turtle Talk. This free program is held at Town Hall. You will enjoy a short video about the life cycle of a sea turtle and how the Turtle Patrol helps preserve the sea turtles. Several turtle artifacts will be on display and educational materials are available. There is also plenty of time for questions and answers.

Turtle Talks are held at the Holden Beach Town Hall, located at 110 Rothschild Street, Holden Beach, NC. 

Please plan on arriving early since seating is limited and the program will begin promptly at 7:00 pm.

To report mother turtles laying nests, injured or stranded turtles, unattended hatchlings, disturbed nests or harassment of a sea turtle call 910-754-0766. Please use this number only for turtle emergencies. 

And Don’t Forget about Children’s Turtle Time:

This fun program is held June 27, July  11, 18, 25 and August 1 at 4:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. The program is designed for turtle enthusiasts ages 3 – 6 and includes stories, activities, and crafts. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
