The Ingram Planetarium, at nearby Sunset Beach, NC, reopened to the public Thursday, February 2, featuring their new projection system, Digistar 7.
The Digistar 7 system provides better quality images, comes with a cloud library of content, and can livestream visuals gathered from the International Space Station. The Planetarium’s 360-degree immersive dome theater can now show real time images of the atmosphere, weather, and galaxy—even black holes!
The new system will also bring stunning new backdrops to our laser light shows. Digistar 7 offers a chance to take your stargazing experience to the next level.

Admission to the planetarium theater is free for members. Non-member all-day admission effective March 31, 2022 is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors (62+), $8 for children (3-12), and free for age 2 and under.
